Artist Bio

Erin Doherty was raised as a Detroit native... well as native as the northern suburbs would allow.  She left for 7.5 years to work for Uncle Sam on the high seas, that's where she found the time to create and expand her style of art.  Her unique perspective has been used as tattoo designs and has also been sold around the world where ever the Navy took her.  As a recent transplant to the Charlotte area, she is excited with her new surroundings and sources of inspiration for future pieces of art. As of yet, Erin has not had any professional art training in the form of college classes, but she is starting school in January towards a degree in the Fine Arts.  She gets her inspiration from EVERYTHING around her, especially in the simplicity of flowers and other plants. Erin is very happy to be back as a civilian, and is loving every opportunity she gets to draw and sketch out new drawings. Feel free to contact her at  erin@erindohertyartwork.com
