Although we had an initial poor experience, Mr. Alexander followed up with us and explained the situation which satisfied us. I suspect this was a one-time occurrence. I particularly liked the fact that he was willing to take the time and contact us personally We will definitely visit again, and adjust our rating accordingly.
Somethng of a disappointment Reviewed by deardona on

I have to say we were a little disappointed in our special occasion lunch at Zebra. The restaurant was not at all crowded but service was not what we expected at a restaurant with these prices (+ $70). Our waiter seemed very unhappy to be there and was absent for extended periods of time. I think management realized that some customers were getting hardly any service because what seemed to be a manager came out and asked us if we needed anything. We desperately needed salt and pepper because, sadly, the food was so under seasoned it was crying for help! Although we ordered luncheon entrees, no bread was offered. When we flagged our waiter down and requested it we were told "I'll see what I can do." Not at all what we expected!
Pros: Beautiful Patio
Cons: Service/Food found somewhat lacking

I recently just went to Zebra and I have to say it was DELICIOUS! I got the lamb tenderloind diablo, which was sooo tender and cooked to perfection. I recommend it. I also got the jumbo crab cake which was pretty good too. The place can be a little pricey so for those of you that don't want to spend all that money I found a place online called halfoffdepot. They have a deal where you pay just $20 and you'll receive a $50 certificate to eat there. Trust me it's worth it. Got to the charlotte section....go check it out.
